SEATTLE - After each game, Coach Tyrone Willingham and the Husky football coaching staff will name the Huskies' 950 KJR Players of the Game for that week's performance. The winners following the UW's game last Saturday at Oregon State are wide receiver D'Andre Goodwin, tailback Terrance Dailey, linebacker Mason Foster, punt returner/receiver Devin Aguilar, fullback Tobias Togi, linebacker Bradly Roussel and defensive back Taylor Lappano.
Goodwin, a sophomore from Pacoima, Calif., and Dailey, a freshman from Vacaville, Calif., were honored for the offense. Goodwin caught five passes for 136 yards and Dailey, in his first college start, rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Foster, a sophomore from Seaside, Calif., finished the game with eight tackles, including a team-high two-and-a-half tackles for loss.
Aguilar, a freshman from Denver, was honored for his special teams play. Aside from his five receptions for 73 yards, he had two punt returns for 23 yards.
Togi, a redshirt-freshman from Seattle; Roussel, a freshman from Baton Rouge, La.; and Lappano, a freshman from Sammamish, Wash.; were honored for their play on the Huskies' service teams in practice during the week.
