Washington placekicker Erik Folk has been named to the preseason watch list for the Lou Groza Award, which is given annually to the nation's top kicker, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission announced today.

Last season, Folk, a junior from Woodland Hills, Calif., connected on 18 of 21 field goal attempts while also making all 35 of his PAT tries. He was named the team's Special Teams MVP and also earned Academic All-Pac-10 honorable mention.

Folk's field goal percentage of .857 last year was third-best in UW history, trailing only All-Americans Chuck Nelson and Jeff Jaeger.

Folk is the latest of several Huskies to have been named to numerous watch lists for national awards. Here's a complete rundown:

Erik Folk: Lou Groza (kicker)
Mason Foster: Butkus (linebacker) and Bednarik (defensive player)
Jermaine Kearse: Biletnikoff (wide receiver)
Jake Locker: O'Brien (quarterback), Manning (quarterback), Unitas (quarterback), Maxwell (top player), Walter Camp (top player)
