Seattle - Washington will open its 2003 football season at Ohio State, the defending national champions. The Huskies' non-conference slate for head coach Rick Neuheisel's fifth year at Washington also includes non-conference home games with Indiana, Idaho and Nevada.
The Indiana game, originally announced as a Sept. 13 home date, has been moved to Sept. 6 to accommodate the Hoosiers' scheduling needs.
Washington faces Stanford in its Pac-10 opener on Sept. 27. It marks the first time the two teams have met since the Huskies' 2000 Rose Bowl season.
The Huskies will not meet Pac-10 opponent Arizona State this year in the conference rotation of games.
Washington's home schedule also includes dates with USC, Oregon and the Apple Cup matchup with Washington State. Oregon's trip to Husky Stadium marks the first meeting in Seattle since the 1999 season.
