Lepp Shares Lead at Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge Huskies Second Round Suspended Due to Darkness GLENVIEW, IL - Washington senior James Lepp was tied for the lead at the second annual Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge when play was suspended due to darkness during the second round. Washington was one of six teams still on the course when play was halted.

Lepp, the 2005 NCAA Champion, was tied with Arizona State's Niklas Lemke at 5-under. Both players had managed to finish their second rounds before play was suspended. Lepp turned in rounds of 70 and 69 at the par-72 Glen Club in Glenview while Lemke shot 73 and 66.

Washington's Erik Olson and Zach Bixler were tied for 46th after 36 holes with 6-over scores of 150. Olson opened with a 4-under 68 before carding a 10-over 82 during the afternoon. Bixler shot 77 and 73. Joe Panzeri was the only other Husky to have completed play. He stood 67th at 158. Alex Prugh opened with a 74 and was the lone Washington player still on the course when play was suspended.

Minnesota and Arizona State were tied for the overall lead at 3-under when play ended. Ohio State, Northwestern and UCLA were tied for third at 1-under. Washington was tied for eighth at 11-over.

In last year's inaugural event, held at Bandon Dunes in Bandon, Ore., Minnesota finished in a first-place tie with USC, but the Golden Gophers won the event based on tiebreaker rules.

The six teams with players still on the course (Minnesota, Ohio State, UCLA, Arizona, Washington and Illinois) will conclude the second round at 8 a.m. Tuesday and then the final round will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start for all 14 teams.
