Husky Stadium Policies and Procedures

Following are policies and procedures for track and field meets at Husky Stadium. Any questions regarding these policies should be directed via e-mail to UW assistant coach Jason Drake (jzdrake@u.washington.edu).

Track Shoes: Flats or track shoes with spikes no longer than (1/4) quarter inch are allowed. Spike length will be strictly enforced. Athletes not complying with this specification will not be allowed to compete.

Food Services: The IMA, located about ¼ of a mile North of Husky Stadium, has a café at the entrance.

Entrance to Husky Stadium: All athletes, coaches, trainers, and spectators will enter Husky Stadium on the South East end or the North East end of Husky Stadium. Spectators can enter through the concourse level of the North side of the Stadium. Spectator admission is free. Spectators are not allowed on the track, in the warm-up area, or near the field event venues.

Personal Electronic Devices: Please be advised that personal electronic devices are prohibited in the warm-up and competition areas. No headphones allowed in the competition area.

Trainers: Trainers may set up in the designated area on the West side of the Stadium.

Implement Weigh-in: Implements will be weighed in at the North East corner of the facility beginning one hour prior to the event.

Event Check-In: Athletes in running events must report to the clerk of the course located at the East End of the stadium when the announcer makes the first call for that event, or one hour previous to their event. Field event contestants should check-in with the head official in their event area when the announcer makes the first call, or one hour previous to their event.

Competition Numbers: Competition numbers must be worn by all athletes. Team packets, including numbers, may be picked up at the North East end of Husky Stadium.

Warm-up Area: Only athletes preparing to compete will be allowed in the warm-up area. Please note that the Dempsey Indoor will not be available for warm-up at all for the UW Outdoor Preview Meet on March 17th

Results: Results will be available at the conclusion of the meet. Results will also be available on the University of Washington web site: www.gohuskies.fansonly.com .

Cost: $25 per athlete, or $400 per team, per gender. ($400 for men, $400 for women) Make checks payable to: UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON. Payment is due at packet pick-up.
