Pepsi Players Of The Game For ASU

SEATTLE - After each game, Coach Tyrone Willingham and the Husky football coaching staff will name the Huskies' Pepsi Players of the Game for that week's performance. The winners following the UW's loss at Arizona State are tailback Louis Rankin, defensive end Greyson Gunheim, punter/kicker Jared Ballman, defensive tackle Jovon O'Connor, quarterback Ronnie Fouch and linebacker Brandon Huppert.

Rankin, a senior from Stockton, Calif., rushed for 80 yards on 11 carries (a 7.3-yard average). He also returned six kicks for a total of 147 yards.

Gunheim, a senior from Santa Rosa, Calif., posted season highs for tackles and tackles for loss with nine and two and a half respectively. He also had one and a half sacks.

Ballman, a junior from San Diego, booted six punts for an average of 41.3 yards and also kicked off five times, kicking the ball an average distance of 63.6 yards (to about the six-yard line).

O'Connor, a senior from Los Angeles, Fouch, a freshman from Redlands, Calif., and Huppert, a sophomore from Edmonds, Wash., were honored for their work on the Huskies' service teams.
