PARIS - The Husky Men's Basketball team said goodbye to Nice and arrived in Paris on Sunday afternoon. Although it is hard to leave the warmth, beaches and excitement of Nice, it is equally exciting to begin the second week of our adventure in the beautiful city of Paris.
Upon arriving in Paris, the team was greeted by some familiar faces before being scooped up in an awaiting bus and heading out to see some of the sights. Joining the Huskies in Paris are the family of Scott Suggs and parents of Andrew Andrews. It was a sight for sore eyes indeed to see some Washington supporters at the airport.
The bus whisked away the travel party to downtown from the outskirts and headed to the Eiffel Tower. There the team took a bunch of photos from a bustling viewpoint situated just away from the Tower.
After settling into their hotel, the team took an evening cruise on the Seine River where they once again were treated to more sights and sounds of Paris.
The team is back on the court on Tuesday, taking on Paris-Levallois at 7:00 p.m. local time.
