ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Forwards Lloyd Price and David West each scored 21 points, leading Xavier to an 81-65 victory over Washington Saturday to take fifth place in the Great Alaska Shootout.

Xavier (3-1) led from start to finish, at times by as many as 20 points. Inside play by West and outside shooting by guard Maurice McAfee helped the Musketeers hold off the Huskies (2-2). McAfee scored 12 points.

Aaron Turner had 14 rebounds for the Musketeers, while Price made three steals.

Xavier's strong defense forced Washington to shoot from outside. The Huskies shot a dismal 37 percent overall.

Guard Carey Senque was the Huskies' top scorer with 15 points. Chris Walcott and Will Perkins each added 14 points.

West had 13 points and 7 rebounds in the first half to help Xavier to a 41-28 lead at halftime.

Washington's Walcott had 10 points in the first half while Carey and Michael Johnson each chipped in 7.

With the loss, Washington finished fifth in the Shootout.
