With 35 points in the Washington win, Megan Franza set her career record, surpassing her old high of 26 points versus Nebraska last week. (Dec. 6). Franzas 35 points was the sixth best scoring performance in UW history (record 39, Shaunda Green, 1991).
Franza also set the Seattle Times Classic record for most points scored in a game with 35, surpassing the old mark of 32 points by Cindy Blodgett of Maine in 1995.
Franzas three 3-point field goals today moved her into a tie for fourth place on the UW all-time 3-point field goals list. She has 102, the record is 192.
Washington tied a season high 27 fouls, while Idahos 30 fouls were the most by a UW opponent this season.
Washington also set season highs in these categories: Points (99), Field Goals made (33), Field Goal Percentage (.559), 3 PT FG Percentage (.455), Free Throws made (28), Free Throws Attempted (41), and Steals (17).
The last time Washington scored 99 points was Nov. 23, 1990 in OT vs. Wisconsin (UW 99, Wisc. 91).
LeAnn Sheets saw her first action of the season and finished with three points, one assist, and one blocked shot.
