Indianapolis - A pair of former Washington rowers have been named to the United States Olympic Rowing Team as announced by USRowing today.

Marc Schneider (UW'93) will row in the men's lightweight four and Katie Maloney (UW '96) will compete with the women's eight-oared crew. In addition, Phil Henry (UW '94) will travel with the squad as a spare.

Team members were announced following the trials and selection procedures over the past month. The team will compete at the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, where the rowing events take place from Sept. 17-24.
