SEATTLE- Deon Luton scored 19 of his 21 points in the first half Tuesday, as Washington took control early en route to a 107-60 exhibition victory over the Central Army team from Russia at Edmundson Pavilion. Luton converted all eight of his field goal attempts, including five 3-pointers, to amass 21 points in only 14 minutes. He hit a 3-pointer four minutes into the game that broke a 7-7 tie and gave the Huskies the lead for good. His trey ignited a 19-2 UW run that netted a 32-9 advantage with 13:23 left in the first half. Todd MacCulloch tallied 13 of his 17 points in the first half, helping the Huskies to a 56-32 halftime margin. The lead steadily grew in the second period, reaching 48 points at 101-53 with 2:48 remaining. Renat Orlov led the Russians with 13 points while Warren King and Sergey Krasnikov added 10 points each. Andrei Stepankov, who played two years at Seattle's Ballard High School with Washington freshman Michael Johnson, contributed six points and four rebounds. Dan Dickau had 13 points for the Huskies who also got 12 from Johnson and 11 from Patrick Femerling.
