Donald Watts poured in 22 points and helped defend two potential game-winning Oregon shots that preserved Washingtons 64-63 victory at Edmundson Pavilion.

Washington improved to 15-7, registering its 15th victory faster than any UW squad since 1985. The Huskies, whose Pac-10 mark improved to 8-5, swept the season series from the Ducks for the first time since 1992 and capped the schools first four-game season sweep of Oregon and Oregon State since 1986.

Oregon fell back to .500, dropping to 11-11 overall and 6-7 in conference play.

Henry Madden hit his fourth 3-pointer to cap a 11-1 Oregon run over a 1:45 span that tied the score at 60-60 with 2:07 left in the game. Todd MacCulloch answered with two free throws with 1:50 remaining to give the Huskies a 62-60 edge.

Following a Watts missed 3-pointer, Madden converted the second of two free throws to trim the margtin to 62-61 at 0:33. The Ducks forced a turnover on the ensuing inbounds play.

Terik Brown missed an eight-foot baseline jumper with five seconds remaining, but the rebounds went out of play off Washingtons Patrick Femerling. Madden missed an open 3-pointer from the left side as time expired.

MacCulloch finished with 15 points for Washington which shot only 32 percent in the second half (8-25) to finish at 41 percent (18-44) for the game. The Huskies limited Oregon to 33-percent shooting from the field (17-52).

Madden scored 19 points to lead the Ducks while Brown added 14 and A.D. Smith 12. Washington shot 53 percent in the first half (10-19) to take a 33-22 halftime advantage.

Oregon posted a 35-30 rebounding edge paced by eight from Flo Hartenstein and seven from Madden.
