CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Josh Steinthal scored 16 points and Jason Heide added 15 as Oregon State beat Washington 71-47 Thursday night.

Brian Jackson added 13 points for the Beavers (11-12, 3-9 Pac-10), who completed their first sweep of Washington since 1992.

Thalo Green scored 13 points for Washington (8-16, 3-9), but the Huskies were limited to 33 percent shooting and trailed by 32 in the second half before mounting a 10-2 run in the game's final four minutes.

Oregon State broke the game open with an early 16-4 run and led by 18 at halftime. The Beavers focused their offensive attack inside as Heide and Brian Jackson combined to go 12 of 27 from the field, while Deaundra Tanner added eight assists and Steinthal hit four 3-pointers.

Will Perkins added 10 for Washington, but no other Husky scored in double-figures. Deon Luton, who averages 16 points per game to lead the Huskies, scored eight points and was 0-5 from 3-point range.
