SEATTLE - Washington's baseball game against Wichita State Wednesday night at Husky Ballpark was suspended in the first inning due to rain.
The game will resume at 2:00 p.m. Thursday and will be followed by the regularly scheduled 6:30 p.m. game.
When the game was halted, 12th-ranked Wichita State already had a 7-0 lead with only one out in the first inning thanks to eight Husky walks and an Aaron Abram grand slam. UW starter Matt Hampton allowed a two-RBI single and four walks before being relieved with none out.
