SEATTLE - The No. 2 Washington men's soccer team was stunned by Seattle Pacific on Saturday evening at SPU's Interbay Stadium, falling 2-1 before a capacity crowd. The Falcons attacked late in the game to turn a UW-sided match into an SPU victory. UW falls to 14-3 on the season, while SPU improves to 12-6-2.

In a quiet first half, in which the Huskies outshot Seattle Pacific 6-1, UW's Wes Hart netted the lone goal at 36:58, knocking in a Kai Carroll rebound off the keeper save.

Seattle Pacific did not answer until 71:24, when Alex Vandamme poked in a loose ball from six feet out, with assists credited to Dana Garner and Jared Dickerson. The game-winner came with just over a minute remaining in the match. Vadim Tolstolutsky set the ball past a diving Peter Van de Ven at 88:52 from 25 yards out.

The flurry of SPU activity late in the game lessened UW's shot advantage to 12-9 after dominating in that category most of the contest. Van de Ven had three saves to Johann Noctzel's seven.
