Liz Lay was medically disqualified during the 2010-11 season because of a knee injury and will no longer be able to play basketball for Washington.

AT WASHINGTON
REDSHIRT YEAR (2009-10) -- Played in just three games before having season-ending knee surgery for severe patellar tendinitis.

FRESHMAN YEAR (2008-09) -- Played in 20 games, starting nine...averaged 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds...missed 10 games due to a right knee injury including the first nine while continuing to rehab from microfracture surgery performed in February of 2008...tallied two double-figure scoring games...recorded career-highs with 11 points (also a team-high) and six rebounds at California (1/11/09)...second-best effort of the season also came against Cal (2/6/09), recording 10 points and five rebounds...dished career-best four assists versus USC (2/22/09), also added four points and three rebounds...made collegiate debut versus Kansas State (12/30/08), turning in five points and two rebounds.
