2011: Shared the punting duties, playing in 11 of the Huskies' 13 games (all but California and Colorado) ... broke his own UW single-season punting average record with a 45.6-yard mark in 2011 ... also set the Husky career record with an average of 44.4 yards over his two seasons ... former walk-on awarded a scholarship prior to the start of the 2011 season ... averaging 45.1 yards on 36 punts, better than his record 43.8-yard average in 2010 ... started the year with a good game, punting five times for a 46.8-yard average vs. Eastern Washington ... had a terrific day at USC, punting eight times for an average of 52.2 yards, fourth-best in UW history ... have five punts of over 50 yards in that USC game ... five punts for a 48.0-yard average vs. Washington State ... five punts for an average of 40.6 yards at Nebraska ... punted twice for a 54.5-yard average in the Alamo Bowl ... served as a game captain for the Oregon State game.

2010: Took over as the UW punter after starter Will Mahan suffered a season-ending injury after the first game ... didn't even plan to be on the squad this season before getting a late invite to fall camp, which he joined in progress ... set a school record for punt average with 43.76 yards per punt ... ranked No. 23 in the nation and No. 5 in the conference in punting as of the end of the regular season ... in 12 games, never averaged less than 39.8 yards per punt for a game... tied the school record with an 82-yard punt at California ... six punts for a season-best 50.0-yard average in the win at Cal ... in first college action, punted six times for a 40.3-yard average in the win over Syracuse ... nine punts for a remarkable 48.7-yard average vs. Nebraska ... averaged 46.3 yards on three boots vs. Arizona State ... a 48.0-yard average on four kicks in the win over Oregon State ... notched a 45.4-yard average on five kicks at Washington State ... also completed a 30-yard pass to Jermaine Kearse on a fourth-down, fake punt vs. the Cougars ... made a pair of tackles, one each vs. Syracuse and at Oregon, either of which could arguably be called touchdown-saving ... shared the team's 950 KJR Most Valuable Special Teams Player award (with Greg Walker) at the UW's postseason banquet.

HIGH SCHOOL & PERSONAL: Named the 3A all-state punter following his junior and senior years with the Raiders had a 42-yard average on 38 punts as a senior ... also an all-league receiver ... played in the East-West All-Star game ... named to the Seattle P-I's and Seattle Times' all-area teams ... named a "white chip" recruit by the Times ... averaged better than 46 yards per punt as a junior ... led Raiders to the postseason for the first time since 1980 ... also participated in track as a javelin thrower, pole vaulter and shot putter ... played for coach Hoover Hopkins.
