2012: Spent the majority of the season as the Huskies' closer ... finished the year with nine saves, good for fourth in the Pac-12 Conference through the end of the regular season ... nine saves were most by a Husky since 2007 and tied for eighth all-time ... appeared in a total of 24 games ... held opponents to a paltry .171 batting average ... pitched in six of the Huskies' eight shutouts in 2012 ... picked up a save in the season opener at San Diego State, working 1.1 no-hit innings ... earned two saves in the UC Irvine series with a one-inning, no-hit outing on Feb. 24 and a two-inning, one-hit performance on Feb. 26 ... pitched a perfect inning for the save in a 1-0 win over Saint Joseph's March 3 ... worked a perfect inning March 11 at Cal Poly and March 16 vs. Oregon, both non-save situations ... also had a scoreless one-inning outing vs. Oregon on March 17 ... struck out two in an inning for fifth save March 23 vs. CSU Bakersfield ... struck out three in an inning March 25 vs. the Roadrunners ... struck out the side in order April 1 at Oregon State ... sixth save came April 6 vs. Stanford, fanning two in one and one-third innings ... suffered his two losses in back-to-back outings, April 7 vs. Stanford and April 10 vs. Gonzaga ... got the win in his next outing, however, pitching two no-hit innings in a 5-3 victory at California April 15 at California ... struck out three in two innings for seventh save April 29 at Utah ... pitched a pair of one-inning, scoreless outings at USC, earning a save in the first one, May 5 ... ninth save of the season came May 16 vs. Portland.
