2013: Appeared in eight games, seven of them starts ... started the third game of the UC Davis series (Feb. 16) and picked up a victory with a 5.0-inning outing ... allowed four hits and two runs with one walk and a strikeout in the victory ... took the loss despite a solid start Feb. 23 (game one) at Lamar: six innings, six hits, three runs, two walks, five strikeouts ... after allowing three runs on five hits in the first inning of that game, held Lamar to on run on one hit over the following five innings ... suffered the loss in March 2 start vs. Cal Poly, allowing five runs on five hits over five and one-third innings ... pitched the fifth inning for the win March 5 vs. SeattleU, allowing a hit, striking out one and facing the minimum thanks to a double play ... started the first game at LSU (March 8) .. took the loss vs. the Tigers, allowing six runs (just three of them earned) on eight hits over six innings of work ... started March 15 at No. 11 UCLA, holding the Bruins scoreless on two hits over three and one-third innings, but the game was suspended in the fourth due to fog (and not resumed until the following day), ending the outing ... took the loss in a start March 22 vs. USC, giving up four runs on five hits over one and two-thirds ... no decision in start April 5 at Pepperdine, when he allowed two runs on four hits over four innings. 

2012: Pitched in 25 games, all in relief ... earned Academic All-Pac-12 honorable mention ... second on the team with those 25 appearances ... pitched in 14 of the Huskies' 30 conference games ... picked up a victory March 4 (game one of doubleheader) vs. Saint Joseph's ... pitched two no-hit innings, fanning two, in that game, a 2-1 Husky win ... lone save of the season came March 31 (game one) at Oregon State ... got the final two outs in a 3-2 Husky victory in that one ... struck out two in a perfect inning Feb. 27 at Cal State Northridge ... threw a pair of one-inning, no-run outings in the Oregon series ... began a stretch of eight straight scoreless outings with 1.1 innings April 10 vs. Gonzaga ... pitched 2.0 shutout frames April 15 at California ... pitched an inning April 17 vs. SeattleU and then had a pair of two-inning performances April 22 vs. Arizona and April 24 at Portland ... worked one perfect inning paril 29 at Utah in a 7-6 win ... had two perfect one-inning appearances in back-to-back games at USC May 5 and 6 ... struck out the two batters he faced on final day of the season, May 27 vs. Washington State ... spent the summer with the Santa Barbara Foresters, who won the National Baseball Congress World Series ... worked eight innings in the NBC World Series without allowing an earned run ... 2.80 ERA with 50 strikeouts and seven walks in 45 innings for the Foresters.

PRIOR TO 2012: Originally joined the team for the 2010 season, but sat out that season due to injury and wasn't on the official 35-man roster last season ... enters the 2012 season as a redshirt sophomore ... in the summer of 2011, pitched for the Bellingham Bells in the West Coast League, earning honorable mention all-league honors ... pitched 32 innings for the Bells, striking out 35 and walking just five, good for a 0.90 ERA.

BALLARD HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters at Seattle's Ballard High ... played his first three seasons under former Husky All-American Kevin Miller and as a senior under John Lamm ... a four-time All-KingCo 4A honorable mention selection ... team captain as a senior ... made state playoffs as a sophomore ... earned three letters in basketball, one in golf and one in football ... qualified for the state tournament in golf as a junior ... won several academic awards, including honors from the 101 Club and the Seattle Athletic Club ... graduated with a 3.8 grade point average.
