UW Baseball 2013 Season Preview: Pitchers

Our final segment of the season preview looks at the pitching staff.

PERSONAL
Born in Long Beach, Calif. ... parents and Kathleen and Tony ... has a younger brother, Carson, and a step-brother, Nick Vitter, who is a sophomore on the UC Riverside baseball team ... intends to major in public health.

WASHINGTON
2013: Pitched in nine games, starting two ... made college debut on opening day (Feb. 15) at UC Davis, allowing two runs on two hits over two-thirds of an innings ... faced one batter (a walk) in the second game of the Lamar series (Feb. 23) ... pitched one-third of an inning in the 15-inning loss at UCLA on March 15-16 ... pitched the ninth of the April 2 win at SeattleU, striking out two in a 1-2-3 inning ... made his first start April 8 at Cal State Northridge and performed well ... went four innings, allowing one earned run (three total runs) on three hits with one walk and seven strikeouts ... pitched in two of three games at Stanford ... went three innings, allowing one urun on two hits, April 12, and then pitched three innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on just one hit, on April 14 ... pitched two scoreless innings April 21 vs. Oregon State ... started April 23 at Gonzaga, pitching three and one-third innings in a Husky win ... gave up one run on five hits in that outing (no decision), but didn't pitch again after it due to injury.
