2013-14 (Freshman): Proved his first year as a Husky by earning a dominating overall record of 8-2, competing at the six spot as well as a few appearances at the four and five spot…earned his first career win in the season opener on January 16, defeating Ken Andreason (6-2, 6-5) at the four spot…also went undefeated at the five spot, stealing two more wins from No. 30 Tulsa’s Juan Carvajal (6-2, 4-6, 6-1) and Rich Van Hout of The University of San Francisco (6-4, 6-0)…continued to dominate singles play at the six spot, picking up five more wins to contribute to his record, including No. 12 Pepperdine’s Russel Evangelista (6-2, 6-3), No. 40 Stanford’s Robert Stineman (3-6, 5-4), and No. 42 Minnesota’s Franz Sydow (6-4, 6-3)…competed in two doubles play matches paired with Watanabe, finishing with the record of 1-1, picking up their single win from Eastern Washington’s Bendjelti/Bringold (7-4) on March 29…Sanon contributed nine overall wins to the teams’ success this season.
