Who is an athlete you try to emulate?
Pam Boteler : Pioneer for womens flat water sprint canoe, definition of limitless athlete that has demonstrated consistency of the importance of an athletic life for decades.
What is your favorite class you have taken at UW?
Ancient Greek and Roman Athletics : seeing the origins of athletics on a grand stage is so interesting to see what kind of athleticism had an emphasis placed on it.
What is your favorite memory as a Husky?
Our first morning practice had the most immaculate sunrise that lit the sky and its reflection on the water on fire that we were able to witness on the water as a team, it was a warm welcome to the program.
What is your rowing background? What other sports have you played?
No crew experience. Was a national competitor in womens flat water sprint canoe and kayak.
If you could be an athlete in another sport, what sport would it be?
Gymnastics, what they are able to make their bodies do is beyond impressive to someone like me; an abnormally tall girl that was kicked out of gymnastics early on in life because of my height, which promptly stunted my aspirations.
