Who is an athlete you try to emulate?
If I had to pick an athlete that I try and emulate I would probably choose Russell Wilson, because of the fact that he is more than just an athlete as proven by all of his charity work, not only in the Seattle community, but also nationwide.

What is your favorite class you have taken at UW?
Education Psychology:  I really enjoyed Ed-psych , because it was centered around thinking about learning and how students interact in the classroom, which, to me, was fascinating as well as thought provoking.

What is your favorite memory as a Husky?
I have lots of really great memories as Husky, but one of my favorites would have to be jumping into Lake Union with my roommate in September.  It was back when Washington had one of those rare, beautifully sunny days and the water was absolutely gorgeous.  It felt like a little slice of summer in the school year.

What is your rowing background?  What other sports have you played?
This is my first year rowing.  I walked onto the team as a freshman.  I ran track and field and played soccer throughout high school.

If you could be an athlete in another sport, what sport would it be?
If I could be an athlete in another sport I would be a hurdler on the track team, because I ran hurdles in high school and I absolutely loved it.  If I couldn’t row or run hurdles then I would be a curler, because I love watching curling during the Winter Olympics and it’s a sport I’ve always wanted to try.
