2014-15 (Track): Successful first season saw her make the 800-meters final at the Pac-12 Championships and advance to the NCAA West Preliminary Championships … at her first Pac-12 meet in Los Angeles, finished ninth in the 800-meters with a time of 2:09.65 in the finals, and also ran on the 4x400m relay that took eighth in 3:41.80 … qualified for West Prelims in Austin, finishing 42nd overall in the 800m in 2:12.70 … top 800-meters time of 2:09.56 came at the Mt. SAC Relays … ran on two relays at the Drake Relays, helping the DMR finish third in 11:17.54 and aiding the 4x800m relay to a runner-up finish in 8:36.59 … was fourth in the 800m at the UW-WSU Dual in 2:12.29 … took fourth at the Pepsi Team Invite with a 2:10.49 800m time … ran one 1,500-meters race, posting a 4:33.03 at the Stanford Invitational … indoors, ran the 800-meter leg on the DMR that took second at the MPSF Championships in 11:09.33 … also finished 19th in the 800-meters at the MPSF meet in 2:11.63 … ran an indoor 800m best of 2:10.03 at the Husky Classic, moving to No. 9 in school history … a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team selection ... (Cross Country): Redshirted the season, competing twice unattached … ran at the season-opening Sundodger Invitational, placing 24th overall in a time of 22:14 at Lincoln Park … finished 15th unattached at the Emerald City Open at Woodland Park.

High School and Personal:
Born in Bremerton, Washington … parents are Marcia and Glen Christen … has a twin brother, Keith, and an older sister, Emma … both parents attended UW as did three of her grandparents, and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins … her father and grandmother were nationally ranked badminton players and great grandmother was a state tennis champion in 1926-30 … one of the top mid-distance runners in the nation during her senior season, ranking fifth nationally at 800-meters and placing fourth in the 800m final at the U.S. Junior Championships in Eugene at Hayward Field … set her 800m PR of 2:05.64 in the 2014 Washington 4A state final, which broke the previous meet record by 2.5 seconds despite just earning second-place behind the fastest runner in the high school ranks … finished third at the 2014 Brooks PR Invite with an 800-meters time of 2:06.35 … also was second at state her senior season in the 1,600-meters with a PR of 4:49.43 … ranked sixth nationally indoors in the 800m, running 2:10.41 in the Dempsey at the UW Invitational … as a junior, took second at the 2013 4A state meet in the 800-meters, and fourth in the 1,600-meters … collected five individual Narrows League titles on the track over her career … also was third at state in the 800-meters and fifth at 3,200-meters as a sophomore in 2010 … qualified for state on the 4x400m relay from 2012-14, taking third her senior year … placed in the top-15 at the Washington 4A state cross country championships as a sophomore, junior, and senior, including a ninth-place finish in 2013 and a sixth-place finish in 2012 … the 2013 Narrows League cross country champion … graduated with a 3.974 GPA … also considered Stanford and Wisconsin.
