2014-15 (Junior): After transferring from Cal Poly she appeared only once this season competing in singles where she played in the 6 spot and lost to UCLA’s Terri Fleming (7-6, 7-0)…Competed once in doubles in the No. 3 spot with Gregoire where they lost to Wiley/Van Nguyen of UCLA (8-3). 

2013-14 (Sophomore): Competed in one match this season in singles play at the six spot, finishing with a record of 0-1…fell short of Sacramento State’s Boija (6-3, 6-1)…Paired with Angela Chen in doubles play, competing at the three spot and finishing the season with a winning record of 1-0, defeating UC Santa Barbara’s Yam/Candido (6-1).

2012-13 (Freshman)
Member of incoming freshman class that was ranked No. 4 among’s Top 25 Mid-Major Women’s Recruiting Classes … competed in two events during fall 2012 campaign: Saint Mary’s Invitational (Oct. 12-14) and Stanford-hosted ITA Northwest Regional Championships (Oct. 19-21).

Daughter of Tom and Peggy Bott … has one brother, Michael … righthanded player … majoring in journalism … while attending the International School of Beaverton (Ore.) during the ninth and 10th grades, twice won league singles titles and finished as the 2009 Oregon School Activities Association 6A singles state finalist before winning the state singles championship the following season … also twice finished as South Coast League singles runner-up while attending San Clemente HS … former top-ranked singles player in the United States Tennis Association Pacific Northwest Section … named to honor roll during all four years of high school … Sophia Christine Bott was born on Sept. 29, 1993 in San Bernardino, Calif.
