2015: Started and played all 8 games so far at Shortstop. Hit safely in each of the first 5 games of the year, including all four games vs. Pacific where he was 5-14 on the weekend with 2 doubles and 1 RBI. He picked up his second RBI this season in the game aganist Kansas.  

2014: Played in 34 games, including 10 starts (6 at third base and 4 at shortstop) ... started the final six games of the season, including all four Oxford Regional games ... hit 6 for 22 during the final six games, including 2 multi-hit games ... was 3-for-14 in Regional, including 2-for-4, double run in 3-2 loss to Mississippi ... started final 2 games of UCLA series and had career high 2 hits May 24 and 2 RBI May 25 ... made 1st Pac-12 start May 24 and was 2-for-4, RBI ... hit 2-run double in regular-season finale ... played in all 3 games at OSU, 0 for 2 at the plate, scored a run ... started at shortstop vs. Bethune-Cookman in 2nd game of DH (0 for 3, run) ... was 1-for-1, RBI, run in game 2 vs. Utah ... made 3rd start of year  at shortstop vs. Northern Colorado and went 1-for-1, with 2 sac bunts, collected 1st career RBI ... went 1-for-1 in 19-4 win at USC and scored in 14th inning of 8-3 win ... started vs. Portland and was 0-for-2 with a hit-by-pitch ... made 1st career start vs. Pacific and went 1-or-3, double, run ... has played in 5 games ... came in as a pinch-hitter vs. Nebraska ... singled and scored in his first college at bat, was 1-for-3 ... pinch ran vs. Michigan St. and OSU 

Played for two seasons under coach Mike Oakland … in the 2013 season, the Lancers won the CIF-CCS championship and finished ranked No. 7 nationally and No. 3 in California … was captain as a senior and led the WCAL with a .418 average ... also had 33 hits, 17 RBI and scored 20 runs as the team went 30-4 overall ... member of the WCAL first team and was CCS all-league as a senior … was the team's Kyle Spraker Golden Glove Award winner in 2013 after having just 2 errors in 84 chances for a .976 fielding percentage … played his junior season with current Husky outfielder Braden Bishop ... hit .302 as a junior on a team that was WCAL champs ... played summer ball in 2012 for Trosky Baseball ... also lettered in football as a junior and played baseball, football and basketball as a freshman.


Pre-game ritual:
I always get to the field one hour before we are supposed to get there.

Favorite baseball player:
Troy Tulowitzki because he is a great fielding shortstop and hits very well.

Favorite music:
Country, especially anything by Luke Bryan.

Why do you love baseball:
It’s a passion that started because my dad was a big fan and it grew on me.
