Colorado, but allowe career-hi 4 hits ... picked up win #2 in 8-3, 14 innng game vs. USC (1.1 IP, 2 K) ... ave up first career earned run in 1.0 of work vs. Gonzaga (1.0, 1 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K) ... picked up first career win and was the first winning pitcher in Husky Ballpark history, after tossing 2.1 innings of hitless relief, striking out 3 in 8-7 win over Arizona ... pitched 2.0 inning of scoreless relief vs. Santa Clara on March 9 ... made a stellar UW debut throwing 4.0 IP, 1 H, 2 unearned runs, 4 K’s vs. Nebraska

TACOMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

While a sophomore at TCC, Choate worked out of the bullpen in the closer role pitching 11 innings, striking out 12 and recording one save … second-team All-WCL in 2013… played summer ball with the Corvallis Knights helping them win the 2013 West Coast League championship ... led the Knights with a 0.50 ERA in 15 games, going 1-1 and recording 5 saves.
