SEATTLE - Arizona State freshman Ryan Kellogg improved his spotless record to 11-0 as the 19th-ranked Sun Devils beat the Washington baseball team, 14-4, Saturday at Husky Ballpark.

With the win, ASU (35-19-1 overall, 16-13) drew even in the three-game series as the Huskies (23-32, 14-15) won on Friday night.

Kellogg, a lefty from Whitby, Ontario, Canada, gave up four early runs, but settled in to work seven innings for the win, allowing those four runs on nine hits. He gave up four hits over his final five innings of work.

Husky starter Austin Voth (7-6) took the loss, surrendering eight runs (seven earned) on nine hits over five and two-thirds innings.

Nathaniel Causey hit two solo homers and finished the game 3-for-4 with two walks. Kasey Coffman went 3-for-5 with two RBI, Trever Allen was 2-for-4 with three batted in and Dalton DiNatalie finished 3-for-5 with two RBI to pace the Sun Devils. Erik Forgione had three hits for the UW while three others -Trevor Mitsui, Parker Guinn and Andrew Ely - had two each.

Washington jumped out to a lead with a run in the first. Forgione led off the inning with a single. He stole second, moved to third on a bunt single from Ely and scored on a Jayce Ray groundout.

But the Devils answered in the top of the second. A walk, a single and an error loaded the bases with no outs for DiNatale, whose single to left-center brought home a pair. Jake Peevyhouse followed with a double into the left-field corner, bringing home another.

The rally continued on a run-scoring, infield single from Coffman, making it a 4-1 ASU lead. However, Voth got a pair of shallow pops and a strikeout to leave the bases loaded with no further damage done.

The proved significant as the Huskies managed to draw even with three runs in the bottom of the second. After a single from Joe Meggs and a double from Guinn put two aboard with one out, senior Ty Afenir laced a hard single through the pitcher's legs and up the middle to bring home two runs. Afenir, who'd taken second on the throw to the plate, stole third and then tied the game at 4-4 when he came home on a passed ball.

That tie remained in tact until the fifth, when Causey belted a one-out, solo homer to right-center, giving ASU a 5-4 lead.

The Devils posted three more in the sixth to extend their lead to 8-4. A double, a hit batter and a single loaded the bases. After a flyout, Coffman's fly to right field brought home a run. Later in the inning, a single from Max Rossiter and a bases-loaded walk to Allen brought home two more.

In the seventh, ASU put the game away with a five-run inning, highlighted by RBI doubles from Coffman and James McDonald and a two-run triple from Allen. Causey hit his second homer of the game in the ninth, capping the scoring for the Devils.

The UW closes out the season Sunday with a noon game vs. Arizona State. The game will air live on the Pac-12 Networks.
