2015 (Cross Country): Ran in the top-seven for UW at every meet, helping Washington finish eighth at the NCAA Championships for its second-best placing in school history … also led the Dawgs to their first Regional Championship in school history, placing fifth at the West Region meet in Seattle in 31:08 to earn All-Region honors … was the No. 4 Husky at the Pac-12 Championships in 26th-place in 23:54 helping UW finish fourth … only race outside the top-five scorers was NCAAs, as he struggled in his final run, placing 249th overall … the third Husky finisher at the Wisconsin Invitational, 83rd overall, in 24:22 … crossed 33rd overall at the Washington Invite in 23:55, third on the team … started the season with a 14th-place finish at the Sundodger Invite.

2014-15 (Track):
 Stepped up to the 10k on the track for the first time in 2015, qualifying for NCAA West Prelims in the event, and breaking into the Husky top-10 list ... at West Prelims in Austin, finished 30th in the 10k in 31:39.57 ... first 10k came at the Stanford Invitational, where he placed seventh in his section in 28:59.37, the No. 6 time in school history ... placed 15th in the 10k at the Pac-12 Championships ... was second in the 3,000-meters at the UW-WSU Dual, running 8:20.09 ... started his outdoor season with a 1,500m time of 3:49.74 in Tempe at the Baldy Castillo Invite ... competed three times during an abbreviated indoor season, running the mile, 3k, and 5k once apiece ... (Cross Country): A breakout season culminating in his first career All-America honor, as he finished 40th at his first NCAA Championships … at NCAAs in Terre Haute, he grabbed the final All-America spot in a time of 30:56, becoming half of the first All-America tandem in Husky history along with Aaron Nelson, leading the team to 20th overall … earned a spot on the All-Pac-12 Second Team by virtue of a 12th-place finish at the conference championships in 24:00 as the Huskies placed fourth … fourth on the team and 33rd overall at West Regionals in 30:11 … placed 65th overall at the Wisconsin Invitational, fourth on the squad, in 24:25, helping the team finish eighth … was the No. 3 Husky across the line at the Washington Invitational in 39th-place overall … took 12th at the season-opening Sundodger Invite, fifth on the squad.

2013-14 (Track): 
Did not compete on the track, redshirting the season ... (Cross Country): A strong season despite fighting through some injuries during the fall … best run came at the Pac-12 Championships, where he was 31st overall and third on the team … also was the No. 3 finisher at the Bill Dellinger Invite at Oregon, placing 26th overall … ran at NCAA West Regionals, placing 99th overall and sixth on the squad … the No. 7 Husky at the Wisconsin Invitational, placing 187th overall in the huge field … opened the year with a great run at the Sundodger Invite, finishing third overall and second among Huskies.

2012-13 (Track): Led the Dawgs in the 3,000- and 5,000-meter runs both indoors and outdoors, and advanced to the NCAA West Prelims for the first time … ran a big 5k career-best of 14:00.58 at the Stanford Invitational, finishing third in his section … that qualified him for NCAA West Prelims, where he placed 26th overall out of 48 competitors with a time of 14:30.33 under hot conditions in Austin, Texas … ran the 5k at the Pac-12 meet but struggled on that day, placing 29th overall … second in the 3,000m at the UW-WSU Dual in 8:15.97 … started the outdoor season with a 1,500-meters PR of 3:48.17 at the Trojan Invitational … indoors, placed 12th in the 5k at the MPSF Championships with a time of 14:21.44 … stopped the clock at 8:07.38 for 3,000-meters at the Husky Classic, a new career-best … earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention ... (Cross Country): Had a great end to his redshirt freshman season, as he ran in the top-40 at both Regionals and Pac-12s ... at the West Regional Championships at Jefferson Park Golf Course, he ran 30:27 for his first college 10k and placed 40th overall, third on the team, as UW placed fifth ... was the No. 2 Husky across the line at Pac-12s, finishing 22nd in a season-best 8k time of 24:12 ... the fifth Dawg across at the Adidas Wisconsin Invite, placing 183rd overall in the huge field ... first official cross country race came at the Sundodger, where he was seventh overall and third on the team in 24:14 ... a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.

2011-12 (Track): Solid first season on the track, competing in both conference championships ... wrapped up his season at the Pac-12 Championships in Eugene, finishing 28th in the 5,000-meters ... posted the fastest outdoor 5,000-meter time of the season by a Husky when he ran 14:18.92 at the Mt. SAC Relays ... also ran 14:47.88 to finish eighth in the 5k at the Pepsi Team Invite ... indoors, had a 3,000-meters PR of 8:11.48 at the MPSF Championships, placing 18th overall ... 12th at the Husky Classic in the 3k in 8:16.81 ... top mile time of 4:11.35 at the UW Final Qualifier ... (Cross Country): Redshirted the fall after an ankle sprain right before the season opener ... did not see competition.

High School and Personal: Born in Coupeville, Washington ... parents are Laurie and Randy King ... has one older sister, Brianne, and an older brother, Kyle ... Kyle runs track and cross country at Eastern Washington and Brianna played basketball at Willamette University ... won the 1A Washington State cross country title as a senior running for Coupeville, winning by more than 30 seconds in a time of 15:16 that ranked third-fastest across all divisions ... did not lose a race his senior year up to the WA-OR BorderClash where he placed 10th overall ... prior to 2010, competed for Oak Harbor at the 4A level, and was fifth at the 4A Washington state meet as a junior in 2009, 22nd as a sophomore, and 99th his freshman year ... as a senior on the track in 2011, he took second at 800-meters, 1,600-meters, and 3,200-meters in the 1A finals ... second at the 2011 Shoreline Invite in a new 1,600m PR of 4:12.97 ... took the 1A state track titles at 1,600-meters and 3,200-meters in 2010 and was second at 800-meters ... second at state at 3,200-meters as a sophomore in 2009 and was fourth at 1,600m .... won a combined seven league titles on the track ... also lettered three years in basketball.
