2015: A standout track season that saw her earn All-America First Team, Second Team, and honorable mention and make the podium twice at Pac-12s ... ended the year with a 21st-place finish in the 5,000m at her first NCAA Outdoor meet in 16:44.94 ... took fourth in her heat in the 5,000-meters at NCAA West Prelims to advance to Eugene, running 16:04.70 ... earned a pair of third-place finishes at the Pac-12 meet, first running a five-second PR in the 1,500m at 4:14.03, then taking third in the 5,000m in 16:09.58 ... PR in the 1,500m moved her to No. 5 in UW history ... got a win in the 1,500-meters at the UW-WSU Dual in 4:23.94, and then doubled back to run a five-second 800m PR of 2:07.56 to take third ... anchored two UW relays at the Drake Relays, helping the 4x1600m squad take second and then running the best split of 4:38.36 on the final 1600m of the DMR to take third ... cut six seconds off her 1,500m PR to take third at the Pepsi Team Invite in 4:19.43 ... in her outdoor opener, ran the No. 3 5,000-meters in school history at the Stanford Invitational, going 15:40.48, nearly a minute and a half faster than her previous best ... followed her breakout cross country season with her best indoor track campaign, qualifying for NCAA Indoors in the 3,000m and as the anchor on the DMR ... ran the final 1,600m on the DMR as it finished fifth at NCAAs to earn All-America First Team honors ... ran out of steam in the 3,000m final at NCAAs one day after the DMR, finishing 14th overall ... moved to No. 2 in school history in the 3,000m with a PR of 9:07.53 at the Husky Classic ... anchored the DMR to a win at the UW Invitational in 11:05.38, the second-fastest in school history ... opened her season with a near-solo effort in the 3k at the UW Indoor Preview, finishing in a then-PR of 9:16.03 ... ran one mile in 4:44.33 at the UW Invite ... named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2014 (Cross Country): An All-American junior season, as she led the Huskies from start to finish at every race, culminating with a top-30 finish at the NCAA Championships … earned her first career All-America honor with a 27th-place finish at NCAAs in Terre Haute, running 20:32, and leading UW to a 23rd-place team finish … she became UW’s first cross country All-American since 2011 … had career-high finishes at every race, including a fifth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships to earn All-Pac-12 First Team honors … also was named All-West Region after placing seventh at the West Region Championships in 20:17 … led the Huskies at the Wisconsin Invitational with a 40th-place finish … finished third overall at the Washington Invitational at Jefferson Park Golf Course in a time of 20:20 … got her season off to a great start with a victory at the Sundodger Invite in 20:21 … earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2013-14 (Track): Redshirted the season due to injury, competing once at the end of the season unattached ... closed the spring with a PR in the 1,500-meters at the Ken Shannon Invite, winning in 4:25.29 ... (Cross Country): One of the top runners on the squad, running in the top-seven at five of six meets on the year … was the No. 7 finisher at the NCAA Championships, placing 138th overall as the Huskies finished 17th … dealt with a minor injury late in the year that caused her to miss Regionals … was 40th at the Pac-12 Championships, the sixth Husky finisher … the second Husky across the line at the Wisconsin Invitational in a season-best 6k time of 20:37 … helped UW to the win at the Bill Dellinger Invite, finishing 10th overall and fourth on the squad in 17:06 … opened the season with a fifth-place finish at the Sundodger Invite, fourth on the team … named honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic.
2012-13 (Track): A strong first season that saw her run at both conference meets indoors and out, showing impressive range … ran both the 1,500-metes and 5,000-meters at the Pac-12 Championships, as she took 17th in the 1,500m prelims, and then finished 12th in the 5k in 17:09.27, which was her only 5k of the season … was seventh in the 1,500m at the Pepsi Team Invitational at Oregon, running a season-best 4:29.38 for 1,500-meters … fourth in the UW-WSU Dual at 1,500-meters in 4:32.57 and was fifth in the 3k … third in the 800m at the Ken Shannon Invite in 2:12.64 … indoors, posted the No. 10 mile time in school history with a PR at the Husky Classic, as she stopped the clock in 4:41.72 … two weeks later she scored at the MPSF Championships in the mile, taking seventh in 4:48.58 … ran a 3,000-meters time just outside the Husky top-10, going 9:33.49 at the UW Invitational ... (Cross Country): The top freshman on the squad, she ran in the top-seven at all six races in the fall ... competed at her first NCAA Championships, placing 187th overall and sixth among Huskies in a time of 21:26 as UW would finish ninth in the team standings ... sixth on the squad at her first Pac-12 Championships, finishing 46th overall in 21:45 ... broke 21-minutes for the first time at the Adidas Wisconsin Invite, clocking 20:53 to finish 114th overall and sixth on the team ... ran seventh for UW, 87th overall, at NCAA West Regionals in Seattle ... at the Greater Louisville Classic, took 42nd as the No. 6 Husky in 17:31 for 5k ... made her collegiate debut at the Sundodger at Lincoln Park where she was the third Husky finisher in 11th-place overall in 21:31.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle ... parents are Katy and Kevin Meyers ... has one older sister, Kayla, and one younger sister, Isabel ... a prep All-American, she dominated the 1A state scene all four years, winning the 1A Washington state cross country title all four years of her career, and capturing 11 total 1A state track titles for a total of 15 state titles, winning every individual event she competed in at every state meet ... one of five nominees for the 2011 Seattle Sports Star Female Athlete of the Year ... the National High School record-holder in the 2,000-meter steeplechase, breaking her own record with a sixth-place finish at the 2011 World Youth Championships in France in a time of 6:29.20 ... advanced to France by winning the World Youth Trials in 6:32.02 ... won the prestigious Jim Ryun Dream Mile in 2010, which featured elite invited prep runners including current Huskies Katie Flood and Eleanor Fulton, in a time of 4:41.93, which was the fastest time in the nation ... took second in the mile at the 2010 New Balance Outdoor Nationals in North Carolina in a time of 4:49.57 ... ranked eighth nationally in the 3,200m as a junior with a PR of 10:18.46 ... a two-time Foot Locker Cross Country Nationals finalist, placing 26th at the 2010 championships and 23rd at the 2009 finals ... won the 2010 Nike Border Clash cross country meet, leading Washington to the win over Oregon ... also took seventh at the 2011 Jim Ryun Dream Mile as defending champ ... won the mile race at the 2010 Arcadia Invite in 4:50.72.
