2014: Redshirted the season, competing unattached indoors and outdoors … indoors, ran a PR of 48.51 seconds for 400-meters at the Husky Classic … outdoors, ran the 400m hurdles at the Washington Open, taking third in 55.81, and ran the open 400-meters at the Ken Shannon in 49.24 seconds.

2013:
A versatile freshman season that saw him travel and compete at both the Pac-12 Championships as well as the NCAA West Preliminaries on the Husky 4x400m relay … at Pac-12s, anchored the 4x400m relay which took fifth in 3:10.12 … also ran in the 400-meter hurdles, taking 12th in the prelims in a season-best time of 54.45 seconds … the 4x400m relay took 22nd overall at West Prelims in 3:12.39 … scored in the UW-WSU Dual meet with a third-place effort in the 400m hurdles in 55.25 and was on the victorious 4x400m relay … ran the 400m hurdles for the first time at the Spring Break Open, winning in a time of 54.48 … indoors, had a best open 400-meter time of 48.93 seconds at the UW Final Qualifier, finishing fifth … also sixth in the 400m at the Husky Classic in 49.19 … ran a 400m leg on the DMR at the UW Invitational as the team finished second in 9:49.25.

High School and Personal:
Born in Fort Lewis, Washington ... parents are Catherine and Johnny Jones ... has one older sister, Nichole, an older brother, Johnny, and younger brother, Micah ... sister Nichole plays basketball at Simpson University ... mother is from the small island of Yap in the western Pacific Ocean ... won the SPSL league title his senior year in the 400-meters and went on to place fifth at the 4A state championships, running a PR in the final of 48.97 ... also took fifth at state as a junior in 2011 in a time of 49.56, and was 10th at state as a sophomore ... 4x400m relay was seventh at state in 2011 and fourth in 2010 ... named SPSL Male Athlete of the Year in 2012 ... earned team's Athlete of the Year award in 2012, and Most Inspirational Athlete in 2011 ... lettered in basketball every year, earning First Team All-League honors in 2011-12 and team MVP honors ... Rogers High School Athlete of the Year as a senior ... also lettered in football, and is an avid volleyball player ... would like to thank friends Mackenzie Lancaster and Marcus Brittain for supporting him to this point.
