2014:
Wrapped up his career by capturing the MPSF title in the triple jump and breaking the indoor school record, then having his most consistent season outdoors … made a strong effort at defending his Pac-12 triple jump title, but wound up fourth with a best of 50-feet, 10-inches … qualified for a fourth NCAA West Prelims, finishing 28th overall at 49-3 ½ … swept the long jump and triple jump titles at the UW-WSU Dual, going 49-11 to win the triple and 23-6 to win the long jump … fourth in the triple jump at the Mt. SAC Relays with a best of 50-8 ¼ … won the triple jump at the Trojan Invitational with a mark of 50-5 ½ … also set a long jump PR at the Trojan Invite of 23-10 ¼ to take second … indoors, won his first MPSF Championships title with a career-best jump of 51-6 ½, breaking the UW indoor record … also had a long jump of 23-9 at the UW Invitational which ranks ninth on the indoor top-10.

2013:
The 2013 Pac-12 Champion in the triple jump, becoming the first Husky ever to win that title … at the Pac-12 meet hosted by USC in Los Angeles, he claimed the title with a best mark of 50-9 ½, coming on his fourth attempt … he fouled his first two jumps at Pac-12s, but came through with a mark of 49-11 ¾ on his third try that moved into the lead … the 50-9 ½ mark was a new wind-legal personal-best, moving him up to fifth on the Husky top-10 … qualified for the NCAA West Prelims for the third time but had a tough series, finishing 35th at 48-9 … also had a long jump PR of 23-4 ¾ at Pac-12s to finish 10th … best triple jump of the season was a slightly wind-aided 51-6 ½ to win the Trojan Invitational, at the same track where he would win the Pac-12 title later in the year … indoors, was sixth in the triple jump at the MPSF Championships with a mark of 49-5 … best triple jump indoors was 49-9 ¼ at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic, finishing second … also had an indoor long jump best of 22-10 ½ in the season opener, winning the UW Indoor Preview.

2012:
The top Husky in the triple jump again, qualifying for his second NCAA West Prelim meet and improving his outdoor career-best ... turned in a dramatic victory in the triple jump at the UW-WSU Dual meet, jumping a season-best 50-3 ¼ on his sixth and final attempt to take the lead ... that mark puts him up to eighth on the outdoor top-10 list ... was 11th in the triple jump at the Pac-12 Championships, going 49-3 ½, and was also 20th in the long jump ... also took third in the Dual meet in the long jump at 22-11 ¼ ... was 37th in the triple jump at West Prelims, going 48-5 ½ ... best long jump of the year was a wind-aided 23-3 ½ at the Beach Invitational ... indoors, jumped 48-5 ½ at the MPSF Championships, finishing 10th, and was also 10th in the long jump at 22-10 ½ ... won the UW Final Qualifier with a mark of 48-1 ¾.

2011: Broke the freshman triple jump record in his first season, going 50-8 ¼ in his first meet at the UW Invitational indoors, which is also the second indoors on the UW top-10 list ... qualified for the NCAA West Prelim Championships outdoors, placing 32nd overall ... took sixth in the triple jump at his first Pac-10 Championships, jumping 49-11 ¾, a mark that ranks ninth outdoors in school history ... outdoor best was a wind-aided 51-0 to place third at the Oregon Relays ... took fourth at the Pepsi Team Invitational with a jump of 49-9 ¾ ... also fourth at the Stanford Invitational with a mark of 49-2 ¼ ... indoors, was sixth at the MPSF Championships in the triple jump at 48-0 ½ ... jumped 49-6 ¼ to finish sixth at the Husky Classic.

High School and Personal: Born in Boise, Idaho ... parents are Kristi and Clarance Covington ... has one older sister, Alyssa, who currently competes in track and field for the University of Idaho ... one of the top prep triple jumpers in the nation ... posted the No. 3 mark by a prep nationally in 2010, going 52-feet, 4-inches in the triple jump at the Reed Sparks Invitational in Reno, Nevada which was also a Nevada state record ... captured three-straight Idaho 5A State Championships in the triple jump, and also won the long jump as a senior with a PR of 24-5 ¼ ... placed fourth at the 2010 U.S. Junior Championships in the triple jump in Des Moines, Iowa, leaping 50-6 ¾ ... won the 2010 state title with a mark of 49-10 ¼ breaking his own state meet record ... ranked seventh in the nation as a junior in the triple jump ... took the 2009 5A Idaho state title in the triple jump with a mark of 49-feet, 2-inches ... won back-to-back triple jumps at the prestigious Simplot Games in 2009 and 2010 ... won the triple jump at the 2009 Youth World Trials in Ypsilanti, Michigan, jumping 48-8 ... also took the title at the 2008 Junior Olympics in Omaha, Neb., going 47-7 ... placed fifth in the long jump at state in 2009 with a mark of 22-6 ... also qualified for state in the 400-meters, placing eighth in the final in 2010 ... lettered three years in football, earning All-State honors as a senior in 2009.
