2015: Focused on the shot put, hammer and weight throws in her junior season … upped her hammer career-best to 161-11 in a second-place finish at the UW-WSU Dual … that hammer mark moves her to No. 8 on the UW top-10 list … also took second in the shot put against Washington State at 41-8 ¾ … season-best shot put outdoors was 43-2 ¼ at the Stanford Invitational … fourth in the shot at the Pepsi Team Invite at 42-9 ½ and seventh in the hammer at 145-6 … indoors, had a weight throw PR of 49-5 at the UW Indoor Preview … indoor-best shot put was 41-10 ¾ at the UW Indoor Open … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2014: The team leader in the shot put, competing at the Pac-12 and MPSF Championships and setting PRs indoors and out … outdoors, set a best of 45-1 ½ at the Washington Open, taking second … put the shot at Pac-12s, taking 15th overall with a toss of 43-6 … second in the shot at the UW-WSU Dual with a best of 44-6 ¼, and was second in the discus at 135-6 and third in the hammer with a PR of 155-4, the No. 9 mark in school history … indoors, extended her shot put career-best to 46-0 at the Husky Classic, taking seventh overall … finished 13th at the MPSF meet in the shot put at 43-3 ¾, and was 20th in the weight throw with a mark of 48-9 … weight throw best of 48-9 ½ at the Husky Classic … earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2013: Led the Huskies in the shot put outdoors in her first year, and was second indoors, also throwing the discus and weight … top shot put came at the Pepsi Team Invitational at Oregon where she took fifth with a toss of 44-7 ½ … was third in the shot put at the UW-WSU Dual at 42-4 ¼ and fourth in the discus … season-best discus throw was a the Ken Shannon Invite as she threw 133-11 for fifth … second in the shot put at the Ken Shannon Invite at 42-0 ½ … indoors, competed at the MPSF Championships in the shot put, finishing 20th with a throw of 42-10 ¼ … finished the indoor season with a season-best shot put of 43-6 at the UW Final Qualifier, taking third … threw the weight at four meets, with a best mark of 45-feet, 10-inches at the Husky Classic.
High School and Personal: Born in Waimea, Hawai'i ... parents are Maile and Andrew Toeaina ... has two younger sisters, Sarah and Kendyl ... her father played college football and mother played college volleyball ... cousin, Matt Toeaina, is a current NFL player with the Chicago Bears, playing defensive line ... named Female Athlete of the Year for Kentwood in 2012 ... won the Washington 4A state discus title as a junior in 2011 with a PR of 136-3 ... was state runner-up in both the shot put and discus her senior season in 2012 ... set shot put PR at 2011 state meet, throwing 43-9 ½, a mark ranking in the top-100 nationally ... won the SPSL discus title in 2011 and again in 2012 ... scored at the 4A state meet as a sophomore, placing fifth in the shot put and fourth in the discus, and also placing 10th in the javelin ... was 12th at the 2009 state meet her freshman year ... competed at the Nike Track Team Nationals in 2010 and 2011 ... also played three years of volleyball and helped Kentwood to second at state in 2011 ... graduated with a 3.8 grade point average.
