SEATTLE -With two wins on Saturday in the Husky Softball Classic, the No. 19/16 Husky softball team improved its winning streak to 12 and improved to 17-5 on the year.

Game One - No. 19/16 Washington 8, Bradley 0 (5)
Washington picked up its second win of the season over Bradley (12-14), this time in an 8-0 victory in five innings.

It was a close pitchers dual through the first three innings between Washington's Bryana Walker(La Quinta, Calif.) and Bradley's Madeline Lynch-Crumrine.

The Huskies then put up three runs in the fourth and five in the bottom of the fifth to secure the mercy rule.

Walker picked up her first of two wins on the night (10-2) and allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out eight in 5.0 innings.

Junior Victoria Hayward(Mountain View, Calif.) extended her hitting streak to 11, just two shy of her career-high, with one hit in the game. She has hit safely is 19 of 22 games on the year.

Washington had nine hits in the game, led by freshman Missy Taukeiaho (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) and senior Shawna Wright(Lancaster, Calif.) with two each.

Taukeiaho got the fourth inning going for the Huskies with a double. After a single by junior Kaitlin Inglesby (Portland, Ore.), fellow junior Hooch Fagaly(Chino, Calif.) hit a three-run home run, her fourth of the year.

Senior Jerrin Fa'asua(Oceanside, Calif.) hit a long ball of her own, her first of the year, to left field to lead off the fifth.

A bases loaded walk to sophomore Kylee Lahners (Laguna Hills, Calif.) brought in the fifth run. A Kimberlee Souza(Waialua, Hawai'i) single brought in the sixth and a double by Wright ended the game with the final two runs scoring.

Game Two - No. 19/16 Washington 12, New Mexico 0 (5)
Walker and Inglesby combined for a one-hitter as the Huskies defeated New Mexico 12-0 in five innings in the final game of the day.

Walker got the win in the start, allowing just one hit in 3.0 innings and striking out six. Inglesby pitched 2.0 perfect innings in relief.

After needing a home run for the cycle in Friday night's game, Hayward hit her first career home run in the second inning to put the UW up 4-0. She had a team-best three hits (two doubles), three RBI and three runs in the game. Inglesby also had three hits and three RBI in the game.

Washington scored runs in each of its four offensive innings with three in the first, one in the second, five in the third and three in the fourth.

Hayward doubled to left in the first and Inglesby singled to left to drive her in. Fagaly doubled and Kelli Suguro(Kent, Wash.) drew a walk with the bases loaded. Fagaly scored on a wild pitch.

In the third, pinch hitter Whitney Jones (Upland, Calif.) singled driving in the first run of the frame. A double by Marki Creger-Zier(Steilcoom, Wash.) and an Inglesby single drove in the final four runs in the third.

In the fourth, Hayward drove in two with her second double of the game and the final Husky run came on a passed ball.

New Mexico's (13-13) Kaela DeBroeck took the loss, allowing eight runs on nine hits in 2.1 innings.

The tournament concludes on Sunday with three games. Yale will face New Mexico at 10 a.m. followed by Yale vs. Washington and Seattle vs. Washington.
