Washington Travels To Utah For Pac-12 Season Finale

The No. 20-ranked University of Washington softball team (39-14, 10-10 Pac-12) will close out the 2015 regular season in Salt Lake City, traveling to No. 22 Utah (25-23, 5-16 Pac-12) this Thursday-Saturday, May 7-9 at Dumke Family Softball Stadium. The Huskies will kick off the series at 6:05 p.m. on Thursday (May 7) with Friday's (May 8) contest to begin at 5:05 p.m. Saturday's (May 9) finale has a first pitch scheduled for 2:05 p.m.

Play Washington Outlasts Oregon State, 17-11

Washington and Oregon State accounted for 28 runs on 27 hits and 15 walks Monday night in a slugfest that saw both teams use six combined pitchers, but in the end the Huskies outlasted the Beavers for a 17-11 victory to win the series.

Comeback Attempt Falls Short On Senior Day

The University of Washington softball team scored eight runs in the final five innings, but could not complete the comeback on Senior Day in game two against Oregon State on Saturday. The Beavers recorded the 14-8 victory and evened the series 1-1.
