Former UW women's soccer player Sarah Martinez has accepted a position as an assistant women's soccer coach at Stony Brook University. Martinez, UW's director of operations for the last two years for men's and women's soccer, is following former UW assistant coach Brendan Faherty who was hired as Stony Brook's head women's soccer coach in December.

Hope Solo, Veronica Perez Named To CONCACAF Best XI

Following another successful season for UW women's soccer that saw the Huskies make their 14th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and second straight, the Huskies were recognized by a variety of organizations and publications for their performances on and off the field.
