SEATTLE – After finishing 3rd at the 2013 Women's College World Series, the Huskies were ranked No. 3 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association preseason poll on Tuesday. This is the highest preseason ranking for the Huskies since 2010 when they were ranked No. 1 following their 2009 national championship.
SEATTLE – As the spring practice season gets in full swing in anticipation of the Huskies season opener on Feb. 7 vs. Baylor in Las Vegas, the team received a welcome surprise last week. The Huskies moved into their newly-renovated locker room last week, and the awe has yet to wear off.
SEATTLE – The Washington Huskies softball program will host the annual Coaches Clinic on Saturday, January 25 at the Dempsey Indoor. The camp is open to coaches of all levels and will feature instruction from the Washington coaching staff and players.

SEATTLE – The Pac-12 Networks announced Tuesday the TV schedule for the 2014 softball season. The Huskies will play 15 games that will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Networks. The Networks will air 7 Huskies home games and 8 road games.

SEATTLE – Washington head softball coach Heather Tarr announced today that seven student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to attend the University of Washington beginning in the fall of 2014 with eligibility to play in the 2015 softball season.

It's a Tuesday night in November, and the entire Washington softball coaching staff, as well as members of the current team, is hard at work fostering the skills of the next generation of softball players.
SEATTLE – The Purple-and-Gold series concluded Thursday at Husky Softball Stadium, as the "Purple" team defeated "Gold", 4-3, sweeping the three-game series. Senior Victoria Hayward went 2-for-4, highlighted by a bases-clearing, two-out triple, to earn MVP honors. "Purple" won game one by a final of 3-0 and claimed game two, 5-4.
SEATTLE – The offense came alive for both teams in game two of the Purple-and-Gold series, but it was the "Purple" team that prevailed with a 5-4 victory, their 2nd of the series, Wednesday at Husky Softball Stadium.
SEATTLE – The Huskies continued Purple-and-Gold week with their first of three intrasquad scrimmages Tuesday at Husky Softball Stadium. The Purple team defeated the Gold team, 3-0, after getting their first run on the board in unconventional fashion.
