Three Gymnasts Make All-Conference Team

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. The Pac-12 Conference announced Wednesday morning by Commissioner Larry Scott that three University of Washington gymnast have been named to the all-conference team; sophomore Allison Northey, first-team all-around, junior Jackie McCartin, first-team beam and senior Aliza Vaccher, second-team all-around.

Huskies Clinch Regional Berth At Pac-12s

BERKELEY, Calif. -- The University of Washington Huskies scored a 195.125 at the Pac-12 Championships to lock in their spot at the NCAA Regional Championships that they will host on April 5 at 4:00 p.m. PT. To make the result even sweeter, senior Aliza Vaccher scored a career-high 9.95 on vault that earned her the title of Pac-12 Vault Co-Champion.

Huskies Take On Pac-12 Championships

SEATTLE The Washington Huskies will kick off their post-season meets this weekend with the Pac-12 Gymnastics Championships hosted by No. 19 California. Eighth-seeded UW will compete in the second session on Saturday, which beings at 6:30 p.m. PT. Host ad No. 5 seed Cal will also be in the second session with sixth-seed Arizona and seventh-seed Arizona State rounding out the second half of the competition.

Vaccher Leads Huskies To 195.375 On Senior Night

SEATTLE It was a recording setting night for senior Aliza Vaccher as her last regular season competition with the Washington Huskies came to a close. The senior posted a career-high all-around score of a 39.425 leading UW to a second place finish with a team total of 195.375, their highest score since Feb. 16 when they hosted UCLA.
